Anuruddha De Alwis
University of Moratuwa, Faculty of Information Technology
Anuruddha Chathuranga De Alwis is a second year undergraduate at the Faculty of Information technology, University of Moratuwa. He has been with the champs for over a year. His interests span in the areas of ASP.NET, Flash and 3dmax. Anuruddha has participated in most of the activities of the students champ and believes that he has gathered lots of knowledge through it. He states that it is a great opportunity for all the students in Sri Lanka and he strives to improve it more.
Chanaka Herath
University of Moratuwa, Faculty of Information Technology
Chanaka is a final year Undergraduate of the University of Maratuwa, Faculty of Information Technology. He has been a member of the Student Champs Community since 2008. He has specialized in Web Applications Development and Enterprise Application Integration. MS Silverlight, MS BizTalk Server and Windows Mobile are some of his most favoured technologies. Creativity and Courage are two of his greatest strengths.
Jude Perera
Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology
Jude is currently a 4th Year at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Dept. of Electronic and Computer Engineering, specializing in networking technologies. He joined the Champs Program in January 2009 and has been an active participant ever since. His passion lies toward System Administration, Windows Server Systems, Virtualization, Beta Testing, Telecommunications and Social Networking.
Kalana Wijethunga
University of Colombo School of Computing
Kalana is a third year undergraduate following his Computer Science degree at University of Colombo School of Computing. He has been a student champ since February 2009. Kalana has experience in .Net and several other technologies. He is interested in enterprise software development. And also has a keen interest on learning further in Image processing applications and augmented reality to use them in effective human computer interaction.
Kalinga Gunawardhana
Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka
Kalinga is a Third year Undergraduate following a degree in Computing & Information Systems at the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. He was with the Champs Community since February 2010. He has a keen interest in Cyber security and Project Management. And he is also Interested in Bilingual Blogging on Technical and Non-Technical issues and maintains several active blogs.
Keshan Sodimanna
University of Colombo School of Computing
Keshan has been an active champ since January 2009. He is currently a third year undergraduate of University of Colombo School of Computing majoring Computer Science. He interests lie in being an innovator and a creative thinker interested in Augmented reality, Surface technologies, Multi-touch systems, Computer vision and kernel development while doing his own hobby research on low cost vision based multi-touch systems. Playing cricket and writing poetry are some of his further interests.
Madhusha Nanayakkara
University of Moratuwa, Faculty of Information Technology
Madhusha is a final year undergraduate of Faculty of IT, University of Moratuwa. Since 2007, Madhusha has been with the champs program and has become an Ambassador in June 2009. He studied at Nalanda College, which primarily laid the foundation for his keenness on extra curriculum activities. Madhusha currently holds a first class GPA in his academic career and shows interests in Artificial Intelligence Research and Applications, Microsoft Technologies such as ASP.Net, WCF and BizTalk Server, Business Intelligence, and IT and Management.
Madhuka Udantha

Madhuka is a final year student of the University of Moratuwa, currently reading for a BSc. (Hons) in Information Technology. He is interested in cutting edge Microsoft Technologies and has a great passion towards IT and related areas. Having joined in the year 2007 as a champ, Madhuka progressed to the level of an MSA in June 2009 after having participated actively and dedicatedly in the Student Champs Community.
Malin De Silva
University of Moratuwa, Faculty of Information Technology
Malin is a second year undergraduate in Faculty of Information Technology, University of Moratuwa. He joined the Champs about one year ago and took part in almost all the activities ever since. He is passionate about studying new technologies and is currently studying about Windows Phone 7. He is a C#.NET and ASP.NET developer while having a keen interest in DOTNETNUKE. He is currently working at Survey Research Lanka (pvt) Ltd as a web application developer. He is also the first student from Sri Lanka to get advanced to 2nd round of the Imagine Cup 2011.
Manoj Bandara

Manoj is a final year undergraduate student of the Faculty of Engineering Technology at the Open University of Sri Lanka. He is following his degree in the stream of Computer Engineering. He has been an active member of the Student Champs community for the last two years. Manoj has a keen interest in the areas of web application development in ASP.NET, Cloud computing with Windows AZURE, Windows phone and Silverlight. He also loves to learn about cutting-edge Technology and latest IT trends.
Nisal Weerakoon

Nisal is a 2nd year student at the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT), following a degree in Computer Studies. His interests lie strongly towards Web Development, Graphic Designing and Gaming. He joined the champs program over an year ago and finds it to be a great experience. This community has helped him connect with many people in the IT Industry, try out new technologies, meet a diverse set of people from Universities across the country, and share knowledge about the IT Field.
Oshan Siriwardena
University of Colombo School of Computing
Oshan is a 3rd undergrad of the University of Colombo (School of Computing) reading for a BSc. in Computer Science. A dedicated technology enthusiast, he is especially keen on areas such as .NET, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Augmented Reality. He has been with the Student Champs Community since January 2009 and has reached the Student Ambassadorship through his high level of commitment to the community and its activities.
Prageeth Sandakalum
University of Moratuwa, Faculty of Information Technology
Prageeth became a Microsoft Student Ambassador in 2010 after two and a half years of commitment as a champ in the Community. This opened a world of opportunities for him as an IT undergraduate at the University of Moratuwa, and being a .NET based solution developer. Apart from that he is also a member of Toastmasters International. He started a software development and consulting company and is currently working as its Managing Director.

Thurupathan Vijayakumar

Thurupathan is a 3rd year under graduate from faculty of Information Technology of University of Moratuwa. He joined the Champs community in December 2009, and was awarded the title of MSA in January 2011. His passion lies towards learning new technologies. When it comes to learning his preference goes to Microsoft technologies. He finds himself to be an easy going guy with some crazy ideas.
